A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be able to document Jimmy and Jessica's absolutely gorgeous wedding day. We had incredible weather and an even more incredible location! They decided to exchange their vows and celebrate the start of their marriage on their own farm. We took their engagement photos there a few months ago and ever since then, I knew that their wedding day would be an absolute DREAM. The sunset, the gorgeous colors in Jessica's bouquet, the lights in the reception tent, this entire day came together perfectly and I'm so excited to finally be able to share it with you.
I started my day off with Jessica & her bridesmaids as they finished up getting ready. Jaycie (Jessica's daughter) was bubbling over with excitement for the day and LOVED showing off her new dress and shoes. Jessica's bouquet was absolutely GORGEOUS and one of favorite bouquets I've ever photographed, the vibrant colors and boho vibe were perfect for this fall day. Jessica looked absolutely STUNNING in her simple but elegant dress and I really am just obsessed with how the day came together! While I was busy taking bridal party photos with the girls, my second shooter Sam was down the street at another farm with Jimmy and his groomsmen. These photos are full of fun and laughter and I'm so glad that the guys had fun using the fences, trucks, and even corn around them for these photos. I was cracking up while editing these!
When I first arrived on the farm, I was blown away at all of the little details put into this gorgeous day and how the farm was completely transformed from when I saw it last. The reception tent was all set up and decorated with string lights and, even though we had a windy morning, everything settled down and was perfect for the set of the afternoon and evening. Jessica & Jimmy used their engagement photos as extra decor pieces (I melted when I saw this!) and decided to hand out custom koozies as party favors. The dessert table was filled with incredible (and delicious!) cookies & cupcakes and they even included a special table dedicated to entertainment for kids (coloring pages, crayons, apple juice, and ring pops!) Before the ceremony started, Jessica had a special first look with her dad and grandma and Jimmy had a special first look with Jaycie. She was SO excited to see him and her face absolutely lit up as she ran down the hill to give him a hug. I melted!!
