Tina + Jeremy: Engagement Photos

Over the next few weeks, I get to meet and work with SO many of my 2020 wedding couples and it's already starting to make me so excited to get into my next wedding season. I actually booked Tina & Jeremy's wedding after an over the a phone consultation, so this was the first time I was able to meet the two in person. We scheduled these photos months ago in hopes of a sunny October afternoon, but to our surprise we picked one of the only days this month that it rained. Luckily for me, these two were still willing to meet up and take photos and I am SO glad that they did. I absolutely love sessions in the rain and this one was no exception.

One of the biggest reasons I enjoy shooting in the rain is having the benefit of having the entire park to ourselves. We met up at Miami Whitewater Forest and because of the weather, we only ran into one or two other people! The cloudy skies brought such perfect lighting and really made the fall colors on the trees pop. Tina's ring is absolutely gorgeous and the fallen leaves made the perfect backdrop for detail shots of it.

I love working with couples who make one another laugh so easily and this was absolutely the case with these two. Jeremy was constantly making jokes to get natural smiles & laughter from Tina and listening to the two of them talk about their visions & dreams for their wedding day made me so happy. Let's just say we're hoping for no rain so that they can add an extra little surprise to their outdoor ceremony :)

Tina & Jeremy, thank you so much for trusting me to capture both your engagement photos and your wedding day! I'm already so excited to see how it all comes together & for the two of you to be united as husband and wife. Thanks for being so awesome about shooting in the rain & I can't wait for you to see the rest of your photos in your gallery here soon!
