Taylor + Brian: Lawrenceburg Indiana Backyard Wedding Day

Newly married bride and groom stand in a field in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and smile at the camera on their wedding day.

I am SO excited to finally share Taylor & Brian’s GORGEOUS September wedding day with you! They had a beautiful ceremony & awesome reception out on Taylor’s mom’s property in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. I absolutely love how perfectly everything came together for their big day. Their photos are full of laughter and fun and I hope that you love them as much as I do!

I started my morning off with Taylor and her group of incredible bridesmaids while they got ready. I always loveeee working weddings where I know multiple people in the bridal party, so this wedding was a little extra fun for me since I was able to see and catch up with a few familiar faces! We spent the morning hanging out while everyone got ready and we had the best time! Taylor’s dress was absolutely STUNNING and I couldn’t imagine a dress more perfect for her, truly such a dream!!

While I was inside the house with Taylor & her girls, my incredible second shooter Sam was outside in the barn with Brian & his groomsmen. From the looks of these photos, they had the best time drinking and hanging out before getting dressed and ready for photos! Brian got his groomsmen the COOLEST personalized gifts and Sam was able to get the only set of photos that Brian requested on his shot list: the beer run! These photos show how much fun these guys had and I loved being able to go back through them and laugh as I was editing them!

Once everyone was ready, it was time for the ceremony! Taylor & Brian had a short & sweet ceremony filled with love and laughter. Everyone was excited to go down the aisle and watch as Taylor & Brian got married . . . well, everyone except for their flower girl. She was NOT excited for the ceremony, but I love that you can see her emotions written all over her face, SO cute! Definitely photos to look back on and laugh about in the future!

After the ceremony, it was time for portraits! I’ll save the family photos for Taylor & Brian to share, but I did want to show off a few favorite bridal party and couples portraits! Taylor’s mom’s property is absolutely beautiful and I loved being able to take photos here. From the giant red barn to the rolling grassy fields, everything was stunning. The bridesmaid dresses were perfect for a fall wedding and I love how Taylor & Brian were up for anything, including sitting in one of the fields! These photos are SO dreamy!

After photos, it was time for the reception! Once the bridal party entered, Taylor & Brian shared their first dance (it was SO cute being able to watch Brian sing to Taylor to make her laugh!) before we had dinner. As a wedding photographer, most of my Saturday nights this time of year are spent at a wedding and most of the time, the food is pretty similar from one weekend to the next. But this weekend? Taylor & Brian had chicken & waffles. Yup. One of my favorites and they were SO yummy! 10/10 best dinner I’ve had this entire wedding season! After dinner we took a few golden hour portraits, listened to the sweetest speeches, shared a few more dances, cut (and threw, oops!) the cake, and danced the night away! Such a fun ending to an absolutely incredible day and it was truly such an honor to capture! Taylor & Brian, thank you SO much for trusting me to document such a special day for you. Everything truly came together perfectly and you had the BEST day! I am so excited for you guys to start married life together and you deserve nothing but the very best! Congratulations, again!!
