Miranda + Daniel: Ashford Acres Inn Wedding Day

I am so excited to finally share Miranda & Daniel’s wedding day with you! Technically, they’ve been married for about three years now, but their originally scheduled big wedding day celebration was postponed due to COVID. Even though it’s been a long wait to get here, it’s absolutely been worth it since everything about this day ended up being an absolute DREAM.

Newly married bride and groom hold hands and walk towards the camera as they look at one another and laugh after getting married at Ashford Acres Inn in Cynthiana, Kentucky.

Let’s just start off by talking about all of these gorgeous details! So many hours went into planning and prepping for this day and I will link all of Miranda & Daniel’s incredible vendors at the bottom of this blog post. They truly did bring a vision to life and I’m absolutely obsessed with all of the color and detail that made everything so perfect. Ashford Acres Inn was truly something from a dream. Endless spots for photos, incredible atmosphere, beauty everywhere. One of my favorite new venues, by FAR. The cake was so simple yet so elegant. Miranda handmade individual pottery pieces as favors for each guest, such an act of love! The flowers. THE. FLOWERS. I’m obsessed. The colors, the wildness, the beauty. Yes please. The community table. SO perfect for an intimate wedding. It was amazing to be able to watch as Miranda & Daniel’s families came together to share a meal at the same table. So special!

I absolutely love color and I’m so glad Miranda incorporated it into her big day. The room that she & her bridesmaids got ready in was so incredible and the different pops of color made me so happy. The mismatched bridesmaid dresses went together so perfectly and complimented Miranda’s light and airy gown so beautifully.

After everyone was ready, it was time for the ceremony! Miranda and Daniel’s ceremony space was set up under the trees towards the back of Ashford Acres Inn. The wooden chairs were beautiful and matched the woodsy and wild theme. Their multilingual ceremony was so emotional and I’m so happy that they finally got to declare their love for one another in front of all of their friends and family!

After the ceremony, it was time for photos and cocktail hour! We took some photos of Miranda’s bride tribe (the sweetest group of girls!!) as well as some formal family photos before heading into cocktail hour for more candid and casual family photos. I love that Miranda and Daniel wanted to make the majority of their "formal" photos more candid by finding and greeting the guests that they wanted pictures with. It was so much fun to walk around and take fun candids as we did this! We also took a few fun full bridal party photos in front of Ashford Acres Inn before taking Miranda & Daniel’s couple portraits.

Since we mixed photos and mingling together, we were able to get a variety of photos with tons of different backgrounds. From the bright sunset photos to the dark & moody photos once the clouds came out, I love the wide variety of pictures that Miranda and Daniel have together to remember this special day by. When it started to get dark and we were done taking photos, we headed to the community table on the back patio for dinner and speeches. It absolutely warmed my heart to see all the love and happiness surrounding Miranda and Daniel at this table and I couldn’t imagine a couple that deserved this more than them. They’ve been waiting for this day for so long and I’m so happy they finally got to celebrate it! After dinner Miranda & Daniel cut their cake and danced the night away! Truly the perfect ending to a beautiful day!

Miranda and Daniel, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a special day for you two! Everything came together beautifully and I hope that you LOVE your photos!
