One of the last sessions I was able to have before COVID-19 shut down everything in mid March was this maternity session for Jarrod & Kristina. We met up at Locust + Vine (an absolutely GORGEOUS studio space in Cincinnati!) and spent the day documenting the excitement that the two of them shared as they prepped to enter into their final few weeks before their baby boy's arrival. Even though I've been slacking on getting caught up on my recent blog posts, this session was just too beautiful not to share!! It's better late than never, right??
Locust + Vine is a completely white studio and I absolutely LOVE how Jarrod and Kristina stand out against such a clean backdrop. I don't get to work as a maternity photographer very often, but these two made me fall in love with the job all over again! The amount of love and admiration they both shared for the other was incredible and I can't even begin to describe how absolutely precious it was to watch as Jarrod unknowingly showed the world that he was head over heels for Kristina. As I would pull her aside to take solo shots of her with her baby bump, Jarrod would stand to the side and whisper, "I just can't even believe how beautiful you are . . . " and "doesn't she just look incredible? I can't believe she's mine!" So. Freaking. Sweet!!
Since I don't have any kids of my own, I can't imagine the feelings that come with becoming a parent for the first time, but I do know that these two will be absolutely incredible at it. Their baby boy could come any day now and officially start the adventure of their lifetime, I am just so over the moon excited for them!
