I first met Janine and Nick a few years ago at one of my very first weddings. They were out having a blast on the dance floor and were absolutely adorable together. They reached out to me to photograph their wedding after they got engaged and I was THRILLED. They were both SO much fun to work with during their engagement photos and I was obsessed with the way they constantly made one another laugh. I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day ever since then and I am so excited to finally be able to share it with you today!

This was my first time shooting at Rosewood Manor and it’s an absolute DREAM of a venue. The giant windows, adorable ceremony space, and open concept are all incredible and I loved every minute of this special day. I got there before Janine did and started working on documenting all of her incredible details that really brought this day together.
While I was doing that, my incredible second shooter Brooke was hanging out with Nick and his groomsmen in the bridal suite at Rosewood Manor. From the looks of it, they had an awesome time hanging out, getting ready, and taking photos!
Once Janine and her bridesmaids arrived, we took a few photos in their adorable robes before they all got dressed. Janine wanted to do a first look with her bridesmaids and this turned into the sweetest moment. This entire bridal party was so much fun and it was so easy to see how much they all love and support Janine and Nick. After the first look with her bridesmaids, Janine had a first look with her parents where she gave them a hand written card (cue the tears!!) What special moments!!
After the first looks with Janine’s bridesmaids & parents, it was finally time for the best first look of all, the one with Nick! Janine and Nick wanted to have their first look at their ceremony site and this was the absolute sweetest moment. Nick’s face shows all of his emotions and you can tell that he’s been waiting for this day for so long. I love the love that these two share and it was such an honor being able to document it for them!!
Since Janine and Nick wanted to take most of their formal photos before their ceremony, we moved right into taking bridal party and family photos after all of the first looks were done. I’m saving all of the family photos for Janine and Nick to share with you, but I did want to share a few fun bridal party photos! What a fun group!
I wanted to take just a fewwww more photos of Janine and Nick together before the ceremony started so once guests started to arrive, we headed upstairs. I know I said it before but I’ll say it again, I LOVE shooting at Rosewood Manor. Just look at how gorgeous these photos are! The colors, the lighting, oooo my heart! Janine and Nick are models and I am in loveeee with how these photos turned out!!
It was finally time for the ceremony to start! Janine and Nick had a special Catholic Filipino wedding ceremony and it was so sweet. Aside from having their bridal party stand up and support their marriage, they chose four different sets of wedding counselors to present four different blessings to them during their ceremony: the Veil, the Cord, the Coins, and the Unity Candle. This was something that I’d never seen before and absolutely loved how special it was for not only Janine and Nick, but also for their families!
After the ceremony was over, we took a few more bridal party portraits before Nick & Janine popped a bottle of champagne. I’ve had more and more couples this year decide to pop a bottle of champagne for photos and I always absolutely LOVE how the photos turn out. They’re always so much fun and I love how happy my couples always are in them. The anticipation of the pop & the excitement of the spray always bring the best smiles and I love how happy Nick & Janine both look in these!
Now that all the photos for the day were done, it was time to kick off the party! We had an awesome dinner, Janine & Nick shared their first dance together as husband and wife, Janine & her dad had a fun coordinated dance, Nick and his mom shared a dance, we laughed and cried during speeches, Nick and his groomsmen put on a show during the garter toss, and everyone danced the night away! This was such an incredible day and I’m so thankful that Nick & Janine trusted me to capture it for them!
Nick & Janine, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an important day for you. Everything came together beautifully and I love how your photos turned out! Congratulations again on your new marriage! So exciting!
