Last month I had the honor of capturing Hannah & Luke’s wedding day & I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite photos from it with you today!

Bride and groom smile, embracing in a lush green park in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bride in white dress and veil, groom in dark suit with white rose boutonniere.

I started my day off by meeting Hannah & her bridesmaids while they were getting ready. This group of girls is always SO wonderful to work with and I loved being able to get them all in front of my camera again. Hannah’s dress was so unbelievably her and she looked absolutely beautiful in it! After an emotional first look with her dad, we headed to the park for family photos and photos with her girls.

While I was hanging out with Hannah & her bridesmaids, my second shooter, Megan, was hanging out with Luke and his groomsmen. After they were ready, they headed to another nearby park before heading to the ceremony.

Hannah & Luke got married at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. This church is SO beautiful and it was so special that Hannah & Luke decided to wait to see one another until they were at opposite ends of the aisle. Their ceremony was so sweet and I absolutely loved that you could just see the happiness radiating off of them the entire time.

After the ceremony, we took a few photos in the church before heading back to the park for bridal party & couples portraits. We had the viewpoint area at Eden Park all to ourselves which was wonderful!

After photos, we headed to the reception! Hannah & Luke’s reception was at The Grand Ballroom in Covington, Kentucky. There are so many things that I love about this venue, but being able to take photos of the dance floor from the balcony area has to be my favorite thing! It allows us as photographers to capture such a different perspective of a first dance or open dance floor and I love adding a bird’s-eye view look to a gallery whenever I can. After Hannah’s dad gave a welcome toast, we did a table photo dash before dinner & speeches. After speeches, Hannah & Luke cut their cake before sharing their first dance and then dancing with their parents. Once the dance floor opened, the party began and everyone had the best time! This was such a fun day and it was such an honor to capture it all for Hannah & Luke!
