Elizabeth: Senior Photos

Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to meet up with Elizabeth and take her senior photos at Xavier University. She graduates this coming Saturday and it was so nice of her to show me around the place she has called home for the past few years. Let me just say, Xavier's campus is BEAUTIFUL and it was so much fun to be able to experience it with someone who knows it so well!

For those of you who don't recognize Elizabeth, she has been one of my go-to second shooters for weddings I've book ever since I first started wedding photography. She's always so sweet & professional and it's always such a treat to have her along to work with me for the day. She has such an incredible creative vision and I can't wait to see how she'll use it in the years to come.

When I asked Elizabeth about what her absolute dream for post-grad life would be, she said she hoped to move to Italy in a few months to be a tour guide. This would mean she wouldn't be around to help me shoot weddings anymore (unless anyone wants to fly my across the world??) but I couldn't imagine anything more perfect for her. She would make the absolute BEST tour guide and how much fun would it be to live in Italy??

We originally planned on having her session around "golden hour" so that we would be able to capture the sun setting across campus, but the storm clouds started rolling in as we were finishing up shooting. She took me to a neat little rooftop and instead of a sunset we were able to watch the lights around campus turn on and I think it acted as the perfect ending to a great session. Elizabeth's bubbly personality and love for her campus shined through her photos and I just can't wait for her to see the rest of her gallery. :)
