Chandler + Jordan: The River Place Wedding Day, Knoxville, TN

Last month I made the trip down to Knoxville to photograph Chandler & Jordan’s wedding day. This entire wedding was an absolute DREAM and I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite photos from it with you! From all of the incredible vendors to the many, many Taylor Swift references, this day was the very best!

Before we jump in, let’s start with these DETAILS! I’ll have a list of incredible vendors tagged down at the bottom of this post, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous these invites are?! These colors are incredible and all of the little details can really work together to make a wedding day stand out. Chandler & Jordan got married at The River Place in Sevierville and this venue was beautiful. With a ceremony space that had a mountain view and tons of photo locations with fall colors, I wish we had somewhere like this in Cincinnati!

When I arrived at The River Place, Chandler was just finishing up with her final hair & makeup. To start the day off on a fun note, we headed out to this *incredible* white bounce house for photos of Chandler & her bridesmaids in their PJs. After getting some giggles out, we headed inside to finish getting ready! Chandler’s bridesmaids helped get her into her dress and it was so sweet! Once she was ready, we headed outside for a first look with her dad. This was probably one of the sweetest father daughter first looks I’ve captured, just look at that reaction! Absolutely precious!!

Now it was time for Chandler & Jordan to see one another for the first time! One of the things that I absolutely love about Chandler & Jordan is that, whenever they’re together, they giggle constantly. It’s the cutest thing ever and I love that once they saw one another for the first time their happiness was absolutely radiant! Chandler pinned Jordan’s boutonniere on and then we jumped right into couples portraits!

Once we were done with couple’s portraits, it was time for bridal party portraits! I’m absolutely obsessed with the colors Chandler & Jordan chose for their bridal party. They’re so unique and really bring out the fall colors in the landscape around them. This bridal party was the best to work with and brought so much fun to the day!

After portraits, it was time for the ceremony! The River Place has a GORGEOUS ceremony space with a beautiful mountain view. Jordan’s face absolutely lit up seeing Chandler walk down the aisle towards him and it was absolutely precious. They did a sand unity ceremony and then shared their own personal vows and the entire ceremony was so sweet. Once they shared their first kiss, they headed back down the aisle as their friends & family cheered and threw flower petals towards them, how fun!

After the ceremony, we took a few family photos (but those are for Chandler & Jordan to share with you!) before heading into the reception! Chandler’s parents started the night off with the best welcome speech. This was so emotional and the perfect way to start the evening. After that it was time for a delicious dinner before Jordan’s best man shared a few words followed by one of Chandler’s bridesmaids giving a speech filled with Taylor Swift references (on theme for the entire day, such a dream to capture as a fellow Swiftie!) After that it was time for Chandler & Jordan to cut their cake, scratch off lottery tickets (how fun!), share some ice cream, and then share their first dance! After that we headed back out to their bounce castle and took some of my favorite photos from the entire day! The rest of the night was spent partying before Chandler & Jordan did a champagne pop & shared a private last dance before their grand bubble exit. This was such a fun day and an absolute DREAM to capture! I am absolutely obsessed with these two and it was such an honor to make the trip down to Knoxville to be able to celebrate them & their love. Thank you for always trusting me, Chandler & Jordan!!
