A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Ashley & Sam’s gorgeous fall wedding day at The Venue on Lake Grant. Even though it rained on and off all day, it was truly so dreamy.
I started my morning off by meeting Ashely & her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at The Venue on Lake Grant. They were just finishing up with hair & makeup and then it was time for Ashley to get into her dress! Once she was ready, she surprised her bridesmaids with a first look!
While I was hanging out with Ashley & her girls, my incredible second shooter Jessica was hanging out with Sam & his groomsmen. The Venue on Lake Grant has a little cabin for the guys to get ready in and it ended up being perfect for taking photos in front of!
After everyone was ready, it was time for Ashley & Sam to see one another for the first time. This was the absolute SWEETEST moment and so emotional! Sam even surprised Ashley with a sentimental bracelet and after she put it on we went right into taking photos. Even though we had a rainy day, the fall colors were so gorgeous and it was so much fun to be able to go around and take photos in different areas around the venue. I had never been to this venue before and it was so much fun to explore all of the different little places!
After taking photos of Ashley & Sam together, we brought out their awesome bridal party to join in on the fun!
After photos, it was time for the ceremony! Due to the weather, we did end up moving the ceremony inside but it was still perfect and beautiful. Ashley & Sam did a sand ceremony and read one another personal vows before exchanging rings and officially becoming husband and wife! After the ceremony we took a few family photos, but those are for Ashley & Sam to share with you later!
Now that Ashley & Sam are married, it’s time to celebrate! This reception was so much fun and the food was delicious! We watched the sweetest dances, listened to the best speeches, Ashley & Sam cut their cake, Ashley tossed her bouquet, we did a table dash to get photos with guests, and the dancing began! Such a fun ending to a perfect day! Thank you SO much for trusting me to capture all of these memories for you, Ashley & Sam!
