A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Ashley & Sam’s gorgeous fall wedding day at The Venue on Lake Grant. Even though it rained on and off all day, it was truly so dreamy.
I started my morning off by meeting Ashely & her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at The Venue on Lake Grant. They were just finishing up with hair & makeup and then it was time for Ashley to get into her dress! Once she was ready, she surprised her bridesmaids with a first look!
While I was hanging out with Ashley & her girls, my incredible second shooter Jessica was hanging out with Sam & his groomsmen. The Venue on Lake Grant has a little cabin for the guys to get ready in and it ended up being perfect for taking photos in front of!
After everyone was ready, it was time for Ashley & Sam to see one another for the first time. This was the absolute SWEETEST moment and so emotional! Sam even surprised Ashley with a sentimental bracelet and after she put it on we went right into taking photos. Even though we had a rainy day, the fall colors were so gorgeous and it was so much fun to be able to go around and take photos in different areas around the venue. I had never been to this venue before and it was so much fun to explore all of the different little places!
