This year, Melanie went above and beyond for Christmas gifts and got her mom something she actually wanted: photos. Photos make the BEST gifts because they can be treasured and cherished for years to come. We decided to meet up in Washington Park on a rainy Saturday morning, and I am so in love with how these turned out.
So many people want to cancel their sessions when rain in predicted, but Melanie was SO excited that it rained throughout her session. She came prepared with her umbrella and her photos turned out so fun and cute!
We had so much fun exploring the OTR area since we were able to have the entire place to ourselves (another benefit to a session in the rain, haha!) and I love how these photos aren't overly Christmas-y. Her mom will be able to have these up year round!
Since we were in such an urban setting, we were able to step under various structures for cover and get a few shots without the umbrella, but I'm so excited these turned out so well. I love portrait and headshot sessions & I especially love working in OTR! Thanks, Melanie! You were so much fun! I know your mom will LOVE these photos of you!
