Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the blog! I'm going to start today's post by letting you in on a little secret.
I hate maintaining my business Instagram. Making sure that I keep a consistent feed, find the perfect hashtags, and come up with a meaningful caption can sometimes be SO stressful for me! My least favorite part about photography for sure. So imagine my excitement when Jennifer emailed me saying that she found me through, wait for it, my INSTAGRAM! What! It was all finally worth it. OH my goodness, just look at these photos.
For those of you who aren't from Cincinnati, let me tell you about our weather. It rains pretty often here. I don't mean "rains for an hour or so and stops". I mean that it rains for a week straight and then we'll get a day or two of sunshine. Balance, right? Right now we are in the middle of one of our week long summer rain storms. However, lucky for us, the weather cleared up just long enough for us to meet and take these photos.
When I say just long enough, I really mean it. The minute I turned out of the park, it started POURING. We were so incredibly blessed. I typically like to schedule my sessions during sunset for a golden hour, but I think the cloudy sky gave us a perfect moody vibe. Especially since they both dressed up in classic black.
Jake and Jennifer eloped a few weeks ago and wanted a few photos to celebrate. Aside from being newlyweds, they're also starting up their own business, so I know it's an exciting time for both of them!
I had never been to Glenwood Gardens before, but I will absolutely have to be back. They have the perfect mix of nature along with a storybook classic feel. Both come together to create the perfect combination of photos!
I had an absolute blast with these two and I'm so thankful that Jennifer was able to stumble across my Instagram. It's always so much fun to work with a couple who laughs nonstop, and I'm so glad that these two have found one another. Congratulations, you two!
