They always say that October and November are to a photographer what April is to someone who does taxes. Fall is 100% busy season, and it makes my heart so happy. I've been able to work with so many new and fun people over the past couple of weeks, and yesterday I had a blast working with the Reynolds Family!
Claira is the newest addition to the family and is almost three months old. And let me just say, she is one of the absolute cutest babies I've ever worked with! Just look at those little cheeks!
She was so well behaved, and it's so easy to tell how loved she is. Actually, this entire family bubbles over with love and Claira absolutely knows it!
Even though it started to rain during our session, the overcast skies allowed for PERFECT lighting at one of my all time favorite locations. Perfect mix of country barns and open fields.
We were able to get plenty of group shots and, of course, pictures of both sets of parents! I also think it's so important to document the differences in the generations to have and to look back on when Claira gets older.
I know that most families only take photos together once a year (if that) and it's important to capture those little moments of Daddy/Daughter and Mommy & Me while the Claira is still small enough to hold with one arm. Time sure does go fast and sometimes it can be easy to forget how small she was!
And my oh my, what a beautiful Momma Meg is! From what they say though, she's not Claira's favorite! When I asked if she had a favorite, everyone pointed at the "baby whisperer" . . . grandpa!
The love and admiration goes both ways - the way he looks at her melts my heart and you can tell they have a very, very strong bond. I really meant it when I said that this family is SO full of love!
Look at her little smile! My whole heart! Beautiful family, beautiful location. Even with the little bit of rain we had, I loved this session and am so glad I got to meet another fun loving family!
